research and insights
The Observatory is the single family office of the founder of Glaceau, the company behind Vitaminwater and Smartwater.
We allocate capital to a limited number of emerging hedge fund managers with a focus on strategies that can navigate a variety of market environments. Our process emphasizes clear risk controls, repeatable investment approaches, and alignment with long-term capital objectives.
What We Do
We invest in hedge funds with a live track record.
We do not invest in private equity, venture capital, or direct deals.
We look for managers with at least 15% annualized returns and drawdowns under 10%, targeting a return-to-drawdown ratio of 1.5x or better.
If your strategy meets these criteria, please submit your presentation along with daily return data in Excel format to IR@247lookout.com.
